Bloating and Inflammation.

Bloating is a disturbing feeling and is more common than not. This does not mean you should just cope with it. These are very clear communications from your body saying that something is not in harmony or is having a hard time trying to stay in harmony. Left untreated will develop into more serious concerns later. 

There are 2 major pathways you can take to resolve this issue.

#1. Medical diagnostic tool , this helps and supports you to be able to understand if there is any other serious concerns underneath and should be embraced to give you the peace of mind and intellectual capacity to know what you are dealing with. 

#2. Proactive movement to changing the motivational cause of you bloating. Now if the doctor has concerns beyond bloating then this step is going to be needed most. 

You should seek medical attention immediately if:

  • Diarrhoea & vomiting persist even after you have taken proactive steps to eliminate stressors in diet and environment. 
  • ongoing or severe abdominal pain, even if it comes and goes. Pain is a louder indicator to get your attention.
  • Blood in your stools. 
  • changes in your stools.
  • weight loss without trying to lose weight
  • loss of appetite or feeling full quickly
  • fever

I am a big believer in science and spirit and we should embrace the technology available to us and when the body does start presenting with symptoms, even having a holistic approach could disrupt your healing. Why? Natural therapy takes time as it is a journey towards resolution. A complete mental- emotional- physical- and biochemical approach towards spiritual medicine. Spirit is the most powerful medicine yes but real embodiment of it takes time. Conventional therapy can support you whilst on that journey to ensure symptoms do not worsen or aggravate whilst you clear out the root cause. 

How can you get to the root cause of your bloating?

#1. Start to determine the cause of inflammation. Is it diet related or trauma/ stress related or both?

The most common causes of bloating from a diet perspective are: numbers, colours, additives, omega 6 inflammatory markers and allergies/ sensitivities due to your blood type, immune function, viruses and gut flora health. 

Have you eliminated these for a minimum of 3 months to determine your response to these ingredients? Yes this includes alcohol too. Alcohol is mixed with many aspects that are worse than the alcohol content itself and that is another video. 

Do you avoid doing this because it is too hard and all your emotional stuff comes up? If yes, then this is now a trauma/ stress response. 

You now have a combination of reasons why your bloating is occurring. Are you going to step out of the victim mentality of this mysterious symptom is happening to me or take leadership and proactive steps to change it. 

A few supportive suggestions that help me.

#1. Colonic Hydrotherapy can support the removal of the gases and debris that the body is having a hard time in processing. This is turn will support the immune system to tackle any free radicals that may be occurring. I would recommend doing a consistent colonic alongside the elimination protocol of biochemical influencers. 

#2. Understand your blood type. Why? Different blood types have a different surface area on the cells and respond differently to absorption. If your blood type cannot bond, bind or eliminate certain elements within food , it will cause an immune response. This will then dictate the right detox protocol for you. 

#3. Reset the microbiome by committing to a flora feeding and eliminating protocol. The food medicine plan that I continue to use in my detox's targets this aspect directly. The gut flora will then indicate the ability to transform, digest and absorb whilst also either being a feeding ground for parasites to stay in the body OR be expelled. The gut flora is not going to resolve just by taking probiotics. You are placing a blanket on a bunch of rubbish by doing this and will make the symptoms worse. You need to remove the bacteria and debris that is not serving by step 1 & step 2. 

#4. Doing all of this will bring up stressors that you may not have the capacity or understanding on how to navigate. This is why somatic therapy and shadow work can be helpful. It supports us to connect and rewire the neural pathways and mind-body connection- supporting a smooth flow of emotional energy and regulation. 

#5. Supplementation can be supportive but it can also be inhibiting. Don't just shoot blanks into the sky and take a one pill fixes all. Make sure to have a look at my supplementation & energy production content.
